This event is called Month of Sharing 2025 and will be available until March 31st, so there is still plenty of time for you to participate and complete the requirements to receive a share of the Sand Pool. The Sandbox - Month of Sharing 2025
This event, like some others that The Sandbox has done, goes beyond just a map, taking the player to a historical experience within the Ottoman Empire, allowing them to experience historical places and cultures, such as the Topkapi Palace, as well as historical figures from that period, within the metaverse in first person. This will be a unique experience, because in addition to having fun and earning rewards, you will experience a piece of history.
For players who participate in the event, everyone will participate in the distribution of the Pool of 15,000 Sand tokens upon completing the requirements. In addition, there will also be 200 Magnificent Century Avatars as a reward, randomly distributed among participants. So, if you are one of the lucky ones, you will receive some Sand tokens and also a new avatar, although usually in these events it is just the sand pool, so this could be your chance to win your first Avatar!
As usual, to receive the rewards there is a requirement to have a verified account, have a connected wallet and of course complete the event objectives, which is to accumulate 40 EP in experiences. The experiences at this event will be very interesting because they will represent a part of culture and history. The first one will be the 27 EP Iftar Dinner, which will take you to a 17th century environment. The second experience will be the Magnificent Century Experience, which will take you to a map that will tell a little about the history of Suleiman The Magnificent.
How is the SAND token?
As mentioned, the rewards for The Sandbox events are made in the SAND token, so it is interesting to analyze how this token has been behaving. When we look at the one-month record, we notice that there was a sharp drop around March 8th, when the token lost $0.31, reaching a low of $0.24 on March 10th. This change comes largely from the fall that Bitcoin had, which affects other cryptocurrencies in a cascading effect.
Already this week, as Sand is a crypto present mainly on the Ethereum and Polygon networks, with the rise of Ethereum from $1800 to $2000, Sand followed suit, coming close to returning to $0.30. The interesting thing about this token is that despite the variations, as the project has presented partnerships and constant events, the community remains strong even in times of decline, while other game-related tokens suffer much more. In the case of Sand, even with this recent drop, the token operated throughout 2024 between $0.20 and $0.35, which shows this strength.
