April Fools' Day "Glitch" Event
The Sunflower Land April Fools' Day event has a bit of a bug theme, which already started with the messages announcing the event. In this message, the devs try to make a joke, informing that "the system crashed, was infected and corrupted several files," again this was just a joke, to say that the great war that would happen on the island south of the map, which is where the events usually take place, had its ammunition replaced with potatoes, a detail that you can observe within the mini-game.
This event started about 5 days ago, and while it's an interesting theme, there are some details, like the end date, that I couldn't find. The message only says "The April Fools' event won't last forever," I searched on Discord and the message is the same as in the game. Even though it's part of the event, I think it should have basic information and some explanations, like how attempts should be handled, or some kind of help icon with details.
Definitely not an April Fools' Portal (Mini-Game)
During the event period, players can go to the southern island of the map and find a portal in the north of the island that will give access to the mini-game. By clicking on the portal that has "PLAY", the screen to enter the mini-game "Definitely not an April Fools' Portal" will appear, meaning, considering the theme, you are in the right place. For those playing in the FREE mode, simply complete the minimum required points for the day and you will earn "50x April Fools' Token 2026", which you can use in the event store to exchange for cosmetics and collectibles.
The mini-game is a food fight between you on the lower ship and the skeletons on the upper ship. To move your character and dodge the food thrown at you, simply use the WASD keys or the ARROW KEYS. To shoot at your opponent, you can use SPACE or Z. And to interact with some structures on the sides of the ship that can give you a bonus, use E.
The mini-game seems simple, and it really is, but it has some problems, such as the "judge" in the middle of the boat. Skeletons appear behind him, making him very difficult to hit, and hitting the judge can result in debuffs, such as making your character walk backward, shrinking opponents to make them harder to hit, and others.
April Fools' Event Store & Attempts
By completing the daily mini-game, you will collect tokens to finally exchange them at the April Fools' event store. Among the options, you will find flower items or items with tokens, and a Stella system, where you need to unlock a certain number of items in a row to unlock the next. In the first row, there is the denture that costs 25 flowers, the raffle ticket, chest key, two shoes, and the best collectible item in my opinion, which is "Definitely not a Flower," which reminds me of a character from some game.
To get several items, I believe you will need to buy additional attempts, which makes the event not so free if you want to obtain more collectibles. One attempt costs 3 flowers, 3 attempts 7 flowers, 7 attempts 14 flowers, and 20 attempts 30 flowers. Finally, there is the option of infinite attempts for 150 flowers. I don't know if it's worth it since most are collectibles, but the value of the cosmetics will be proportional to the expense, but there's no guarantee.
