The latest update to the Golden Age ROM brought a new system to the NFT game on the Wemix network. This new rune system has 3 new ways to unlock attributes for the player, which initially seems quite complex, but becomes simple once you understand it. How does the Rune system work?
Runes are a new system added to the latest update of ROM Golden Age, offering players another way to improve their character's stats and combat power. The first method is simply placing runes in the available slots for each element. The player will then receive the elemental effect depending on the number of runes of that element, as described in the "Element Effect" tab. For example, in the case of the Earth element, since 7 elements were placed, we have 7 unlocked stats.
Next, we have the link effects, which are rune attributes that the player obtains as soon as they create a link of the same color between two or more runes. The links are the lines that form between the elements when they have sides of the same color. This Ignis rune, for example, has the link effect of PVE Ranged Attack +1.
Finally, we have the set effect. The set is simply the symbol on the rune and the name it receives. When you manage to place the required number of runes from that same set, you will receive the bonus effect. The simplest sets are Atras, which gives +1 to all attacks, and Calderas, which gives +1 to all accuracy, because they only require 5 runes from that set.
Surprise Coupon
In this update, a celebratory coupon appeared on the main page of the official ROM Golden Age website, giving players who use it some in-game items. Among them are 100 Guardian summons, 100 costume summons, and 30 chests of the new in-game item, which are runes. Finally, we also have 300x materials that are versatile for use in soul enchantment.
Take advantage of these items to get at least an epic outfit or guardian that makes a difference in the character's stats. Also, since runes are new content, these 30 rune chests will be difficult to obtain, at least for now, so make good use of them at the beginning. After all, the rune page has exactly 25 slots to be filled.
How to obtain runes?
A very simple way to get runes is by using gold. In this update, 3 daily rune summons were added to the game's shop, in the summon tab, under daily draws. Medium Rune for 300k gold, Advanced Rune for 400k gold, and Superior Rune Chest for 500k gold. This is the simplest way to get more runes to fill the slots.
