At the end of the year, HiveBR's first Twitter/X Space took place with the theme recapitulating the community's path in 2023. Furthermore, during the conversation we got into the topic of what to expect for 2024 in terms of HiveBR and what members wait.
The phrase to end the conversation with an insight was one I read recently "Barren Heritage - is the heritage that does not generate income." So if you have any value sitting around, put it there to generate passive income, to enter the year 2024 with a little more value :)

HiveBR in 2023 How did it all start?
Let's start at the beginning, talking about how it all started with HiveBR. The Brazilian community started with Matheusggr, creating a group for anyone who was Brazilian to interact and help each other on Hive. The community started to gain relevance when they reached the top 100 guild ranks in Splinterlands, because they saw that together we achieved something big, since Splinter is the Top 1 game on Hive and it's not that simple to rank in Brawls. In March, they had different publications as author of the week, in which they chose the best post of the week. Soon after, the curation trail began, which currently has 57 users, who follow HiveBR's votes.
A big milestone for the community was the zealy campaign in May, because in it the HiveBR group won in the rankings and got a large delegation from @theycallmedan of 100k HP to the curation account @hive-br.voter, the which helped all members to increase their HP throughout this year 2023.
Another important moment was the launch of the HBR token, which brought decentralization to HiveBR's governance, now members who own the token can stake it and launch proposals and votes for the DAO. We can say that 2023 was a great step forward for the community in general, with several notable moments.
Inleo in 2023
We had the Rebrand from Leofinanca to Inleo, which initially caused doubts, but is now a fundamental part of Hive with Threads. This change was to expand into other niches besides finance. But the leofinance community is still one of the Leo team's focuses.
Talking about Threads, we had some problems with the delay in indexing due to the large number, but now with LeoNode active and being improved, the time has decreased and interaction has become easier. In addition to Threads, we had ThreadCasts this year, which provided more interaction between users and a bridge between Web2 (Spaces) and Web3 (Threadcasts), which was very evident during the Zealy campaign, in which users participated in both "worlds ".
News 2024
After talking a little about the evolution of HiveBR in 2023, the question remains and what will 2024 be like, what can we expect? Well, firstly, the NFT showroom released the creation of NFTs, that is, one less lock for us to have NFTs from HiveBR. Speaking of NFTs, inleo itself said in one of the year-end Spaces that it intends to create NFTs with utilities, such as some voting buffs. However, this has been discussed for a while and even if they have a good delivery history, deadlines are not disclosed.
From what was commented on the HiveBR Space, everyone is excited for in-person events in 2024. At the multichain event, which @vempromundo participated, they showed interest in having hivebr together. And in this sense of expanding Hive to more Brazilians, we may have some channels on social networks such as YouTube, Twitter and others to promote this.
Finally, with more and more government control over CEX and exchanges, it is becoming more difficult to maintain privacy, so the HiveBR team is thinking about ways to convert HBR to PIX.

HiveBR em 2023 Como tudo começou?
Vamos começar pelo começo, falando como tudo começou com a HiveBR. A comunidade brasileira inicou com o Matheusggr, criando um grupo para quem fosse brasileiro poder interagir e se ajudar na Hive. A comunidade começou a ganhar relavância quando chegaram no top 100 de rank das guildas no Splinterlands, porque viram que juntos conseguimos algo grande, já que o Splinter é o Top 1 jogo da Hive e não é tão simples rankear nos Brawls. Em março, tiveram publicações diferentes como autor da semana, em que escolhiam o melhor post da semana. Logo depois começou a trilha de curadoria, que atualmente conta com 57 usuários, que acompanham os votos da HiveBR.
Um grande marco para a comunidade foi a campanha zealy de maio, porque nela o grupo da HiveBR ganhou nos rankings e conseguiu uma grande delegação do @theycallmedan de 100k de HP para a conta de curadoria @hive-br.voter, o que ajudou todos os membros a crescer seu HP ao longo desse ano de 2023.
Um outro momento importante foi o lançamento do token HBR, que trouxe uma decentralização para a governança da HiveBR, agora os membros que possui o token podem colocá-lo em stake e lançar propostas e votos para o DAO. Podemos dizer que 2023 foi um grande avanço para a comunidade no geral, com diversos momentos marcantes.

Tivemos o Rebrand da Leofinanca para Inleo, que inicialmente causou dúvidas, mas agora é uma parte fundamental da Hive com as Threads. Essa mudança foi para expandir para outros nichos além de finanças. Mas a comunidade leofinance ainda é um dos focos da equipe da Leo.
Falando sobre as Threads, tivemos alguns problemas de demora para indexar devido a grande quantidade, mas agora com o LeoNode ativo e sendo aprimorado o tempo tem diminuido e a interação ficado mais fácil. Além das Threads, tivemos os ThreadCasts nesse ano, que promeveu mais interação entre usuários e uma ponte entre a Web2 (Spaces) e a Web3 (Threadcasts), que ficou bem evidente durante a campanha Zealy, em que os usuários participavam dos dois "mundos".
Novidades 2024
Depois de falarmos um pouco da evolução da HiveBR em 2023, fica a dúvida e como será 2024, o que podemos esperar? Bom primeiramente a NFT showroom liberou a criação de NFTs, ou seja, uma trava a menos para termos NFTs da HiveBR. Falando em NFTs, a própria inleo disse em um dos Spaces de fim de ano que pretende criar nfts com utilidades, como alguns buffs de votos. Entretanto, isso já comentado a um tempo e mesmo que tenham um bom histórico de entrega, os prazos não são divulgados.
Pelo que foi comentado no Space da HiveBR todos estão empolgados para eventos presenciais em 2024. No evento multichain, que o @vempromundo participou, eles mostraram interesse em ter a hivebr junto. E nesse sentido de expandir a Hive para mais brasileiros, talvez tenhamos alguns canais nas redes sociais como YouTube, Twitter e outras para fazer essa divulgação.
Por fim, com cada vez mais controle dos governos nas CEX e exchanges, está ficando mais difícil para manter a privacidade, então a equipe da HiveBR está pensando em formas de como converter o HBR por PIX.
