As I write this, BTC just capitulated below $40k and Alex Becker's channel has gone into hiding, the fucking bitch. Perfect time for a comeback. I figured no one needed my kind of writing during the bull market when everything is going up. You can listen to anybody then, and most people choose to listen to moonboi fags like Elliotrades, Bitboy and Becker. Everybody's right on every call. Everybody is making money, and more importantly to me, making fun of anyone who actually has a philosophy about bitcoin or cares about crypto tech.
Yeah, really no need for me to write in that kind of environment.
Now that shit's slowed down a bit, trading is getting harder and losers like Becker are going to spend their gains on hookers and coke, this is when I want to write.
I also had to make sure my way of trading actually worked. Having a philosophy/moral center costs money. Being poor and yelling about "duh tech" only makes you mad and poor. So I can safely say that my lifestyle hasn't changed from BTC$60K to BTC$38K. I'm 100% in crypto and I can still travel around the world, go out to eat, get my partner's hurr did, not have a job-job (this is hard work, don't let anybody fool you) and maintain my financial responsibilities regardless of the dump. So my strategy works; it can make you wealthy. I can verify that firsthand, so that gives me confidence to write my opinion on this shit.
The way I'm keeping my lifestyle up even through dumps is active yield farming. I find my own farms and go for max yield on top coins. I don't really follow-follow anyone anymore, but I do check in on Taiki Maeda and Drake on Digital consistently. They are legit farmers and won't steer you wrong.
But I found some of my best farms like LiquidDriver, Filda on IoTex, and Osmosis on my own. Heard Drake talk about LiquidDriver like 3 weeks later after the coin shot up from $5 to $50. Very important to do your own research.
I also found my weaknesses. I made a good bit of money, but I didn't make as much as I should have. Why? Too much diversification. Went way too conservative during the bull stretch. Sold my Sandbox land too early and generally performed based off too much fear. I'll probably outperform during sideways-down markets with the farming, but I need to learn how to make directional plays. Started looking up inverted charts on TradingView so I can start shorting this bear, got back with my preferred price-action trader TraderMayne (he's really just the first guy I found who didn't make complete unsense), and began my next step in becoming a master trader.
But just because I want to become a master trader doesn't mean I shouldn't do all the other crypto stuff. Like, if I don't write and increase my social presence, then I leave the mores of crypto in the hands of fucking Alex Becker and Elliotrades and fuckin GaryVee and these clowns. So I have to write. If I don't get more involved in projects on a day-to-day basis as a business guy, then I become one of these wen moon lazy fucking clowns. So I'm actively working on PathDAO and Cxmmunity (huge opp here; more on that later). I also have to learn code (Rust). At least I got as far as picking the language. It's getting done in 2022.
In the bear market, it's time to BUIDL, i.e. do it all. Everything. Everything you ever wanted to do. Find the energy reserves you didn't know you had and double down on yourself and your investments. Thought you were gonna get to be lazy cuz of crypto? Nope. You're going to end up working harder. Why? Because the forces that want your portfolio dead are winning right now. If we don't fight back, they'll take your fuckin gains and kill your fuckin market.
So PLEASE, Becker and Co. stay gone. Stay the fuck gone. But even if you don't, I'm coming back recharged.
If you're reading this on Jan. 20-Jan. 21, you should read up on the #VampWars on Twitter and prepare to get involved with 0xDAO. Also, trading bots won't save you from the bear. Mercor Finance and anything like it is 100% garbage.
I have a lot of new stuff to inform you of. The Telegram group is still pumping and full of alpha.
