Institutions are still buying the dips, retail buyers are FOMOing in, and most importantly, the necessary pullback has occurred to continue a parabolic bull run. Bitcoin will go to $40,000 before it has any substantial or extended pullback, and this coincides perfectly with many events that are taking place in the next few weeks.
The pullback to $30k after the highs around $35k was a necessary relief while the United States puts its final legislators in place for the next 2 years. The race for Georgia (the state, not the country), which ends on Tuesday, will determine whether liberals or conservatives have the majority in the federal legislature. The stock market indexes took a tumble around 1.5% in response to the uncertainty. Donald Trump's highly publicized phone call, which many people interpreted as trying to coerce Georgia officials to cheat on the election, didn't help much.
But after Tuesday, the US government will be set and in place. That certainty gives bitcoin room to run without any FUD from tradfi.
Bitcoin has just enough time to run to $40k before the regulators come back after the federal Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, which will certainly bring more FUD into the crypto space. Funny how that coincides with all of the technical indicators that crypto should have a pullback. So look for it around January 18th.
Regulators will fail at controlling bitcoin, but they will succeed at scaring the fuck out of noobs. At this time, it's best to be in stablecoins that are not USDT to wait out the nonsense. If you know how to trade in a bearish market, have at it.
After this FUD period, which could last for a couple of months, we will have all of the reset we need to push back up to new highs over $40k. It will be a bumpy ride because the US so blindly and stupidly wants to hang onto power, but crypto will prevail.
