A super quick update:
Today, working late, I arrived home at about 20:00 to find that I'd been locked out of the kitchen I share with my landlady and thus was unable to make supper for myself. Now, on a cold night like tonight, I was not prepared to go to bed hungry. No problem; I grabbed the fifty bucks in my wallet that I'd withdrawn for paying for parking when I went to sort out my vehicle license the other day. I then headed out to the nearest shopping centre with fast food joints, looking forward to a fat, juicy rave burger from Steers. However, Steers closes at 20:00, so they were long gone by the time I got there. The same applies with the fish and chips shop. No problem; I headed to the pizza joint, but everything on the menu was too expensive. Off to the Punjabi restaurant I went and perused the menu.
How about a quarter chicken tika with chips and naan for fifty bucks, sir? Yes, I think that will do perfectly, thank you. (It did too; value for money, only fifteen minutes wait and, not being a fan of naan, I even fed a homeless guy with what I didn't eat. It was the best takeaway chicken tika I've ever bought: Plenty of meat, succulent and spicy without taking my head off. Even the naan looked tasty.) I can't wait to try the other items on the menu. If you ever come across a Little Punjab restaurant, I highly recommend you give their food a try.
In other news, I've signed up on read.cash and noise.cash. I've also registered a HIVE account through BlockTrades (and am using the Hive Keychain wallet, both the mobile app and addon for my browser) so that I can use whatever BCH I earn on the *cash sites to buy some HIVE (and Hive Power) to cross post on the Hive blog and PeakD. Then I'm going to register an account with/on Subsocial. I'm sick of FB and Hetlife. I figure that if I'm going to contend with idiots online, I might as well earn some crypto in the process. A Shoutout to @ifiwasfrank for the PeakD link/invite and Renaissance Man for the blog/ hive site recommendations.
