In the morning of the day on which I'm posting this, some random misogynistic dudebro fool on Fratlife challenged me to donate 98% of my next paycheck to someone's Patreon. I accepted, since I have a potential client willing to pay 8-10x my asking price necessary to cover my expenses. The dudebro has also given his word as a man (something clearly very important to him) to match my contribution. Plus, the woman in question writes well and I think she deserves compensation for it (which she's not getting on at least one of the platforms on which she posts).
What he doesn't realise is that I'm not going to take what comes in and immediately send it on. Instead, I'm going to take anything left over from my expenses, buy crypto (HIVE, MATIC, SOL or something else with a high APY and that has had massive gains in the past) with it. (To sweeten the deal, any tips I get on this post will also go into that fund/pool, since it also counts as income for me.) Once I've got the crypto from an exchange, I'll then stake it for at least a year (on/through Celcius, PancakeSwap, Nexo or elsewhere), reinvesting any monthly rewards therefrom. At the end of the year, all of that will be unstaked and go to the relevant Patreon account holder. (Nothing in the agreement states I'm not permitted do that.)
The aim is to beat him at his own game and hit him where it hurts, with a white elephant. Those who challenge The Snark in any form must not be allowed to escape unscathed.
“Man’s greatest joy is to slay his enemy, plunder his riches, ride his steeds, see the tears of his loved ones and embrace his women.” – Genghis Khan
Now, though, I must get back to work to secure the income that will set that plan in motion. May you have a pleasant day crushing and trampling your enemies underfoot and getting a good ROI. Snark out!
