A Shout-Out to Atomic Wallet and SimplEx for Being Fantastic

Atomic Wallet supports a staggering number of currencies

This is going to be a very quick post, which is a reflection on the speed and simplicity of using Atomic Wallet (which uses Simplex for transactions).

After weeks of fighting with Coinbase and Coindirect, the support staff there still haven't solved my issue, despite me throwing my toys, giving them an earful and nagging them to do their jobs. However, today I happened to have the bright idea of trying to go through Virwox (which I'd used before, but the fees were high). Sadly, Virwox is no more, as of about a year ago. So then I tried exchanging fiat for crypto directly through the Atomic wallet. Wowsers! Talk about simplicity! It took about ten to fifteen minutes to go from starting the process, uploading my identification, to having BTC in my account. Simplex by name, simplex by nature. What an outstanding job, folks! I really am as pleased as punch! XD

The content of this blog is exclusively to do with online privacy/security, cryptography and cryptocurrency: Understanding it, investing in it, mining it (in groups/crowds), developing/programming it, the social problems it aims to solve and the various ways to make more of it (or not, as various losses and failures happen). Let's get away from banksters, Capitalists and fiat, to an unbanked anarcho-syndicalist commune. || Banner image: Blogger's own.
