Today, Monday, January 22, 2024, President Javier Gerardo Milei began the week by eliminating the privilege pensions for Presidents and Vice President, these numbers do not influence the national economy, rather it is a gesture to the people making it clear that there is no money for unnecessary expenses.

At 6 am Javier Milei gave a radio interview to journalist Ali Paluch on Rock & Pop radio in which, as always, the liberal professor gave an economics lesson in the first part of the interview explaining for the thousandth time the cause of the average salaries in Argentina are 300 USD applying the Socialist ideas of previous governments.
He also commented on the protests of the INCAA (Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts) for the removal of economic subsidies to finance film and television series to multimillionaire artists thanks to the State and not to the collection of the productions whose income is minimal.
He also made statements about the actor, Adrian Suar, who called for the DNU and the Bases for a Better Argentina Law not to be approved, declaring himself against it for fear of losing contracts for more than twenty million dollars a year to finance his exquisite cinema at the expense of the Argentine people. The President made it clear that he has to decide whether to finance cinema or to feed the people and between those two options the idea of spending resources on culture is ruled out.

Regarding Vice President Victoria Villarruel, also today, she fired three employees of the Senate of the Nation for being absent without justification, it is worth clarifying for international readers, these positions in the Senate, in Argentina, are political positions with astronomical salaries for the region in order to hinder the functioning of the country.
