Welcome to the latest post in my blog for all things crypto-related. Today I will be writing about my latest creations in the world of NFT's, having recently posted about my first drop with Ape-Man Brains. Within that post, I briefly outlined how I created the collection, the ideas behind it, and some of the future plans with the Ape-Man Brain collection. Today I will look at how I've managed to make sales within the collection, with over half sold so far. I will also look at where I plan on taking the collection, the upcoming next release, and where I think I can improve and further the collection down the line.

Story So Far

The First Batch was designated with a light blue background. This was chosen as I felt it would help to make the Ape-Man Brain a great NFT to be used as a profile picture, with a foreground focused on the APe-Man Brain and the background being a simple natural tone.

Initially, the collection featured 25 unique Ape-Man Brain images, which were made available for sale at 0.0005ETH, equating to a value of about $2. This is the minimum sales price on Opensea when listing your items.

As of the time of writing, so far there have been 15 sales, which traded at a volume of 0.0075 ETH. I’m very pleased with this so far, and hopefully, with the second batch being released I will be able to get even more Ape-Man Brains out there.

Next Release in the Collection

This week I am planning on releasing the first half of the second batch, on Thursday the 28th, giving more variety to the release so far. This new batch will be represented with a light green background, signifying it as the second release along with its number range. Instead of making all 25 available at once, as I did with the first release, I will only be making 13 of the 25 available for sale initially, at a price of 0.0007 ETH. This will see the price increasing from the initial 0.0005 ETH price.

Along with the 10 still available for sale, this will make 23 unique Ape-Man Brain NFTs still available from a total of 38 overall. Hopefully, they will continue selling and I will follow up with the remaining 12 bringing a total of 50 Ape-Man NFTs to the market.

Future Plans

As part of my initial promotion, I included a giveaway at the time of release, making a part of my Abstract Collection available. This went well, and simultaneously I even had a buyer promoting his Ape-Man Brain as his profile picture on Twitter.

All this has helped to get the work out there, and through giveaways, I’ve also managed to increase my following on social media platforms. I find this to be vitally important in getting the word out and ensuring people are getting a chance to see my work.

Assuming all goes well with the batch#2 release, I will be working towards getting the total number up to around the 100 mark, meaning at least two further batches being released. Hopefully, this will happen at some point throughout November, and potentially further in December if sales are maintained.

As a spin-off to the Ape-Man Brain collection, I'm currently looking at starting a creation that would span through the head. This will involve many layers and result in a video more than a traditional image. Potentially it could be more like the promotional image I used for launching Ape-Man Brain. I think it will be named Ape-Man Mind, but I will confirm that once I've done more work on the art and decide if it's something I will pursue.

Other Works Including AI

Space Explosion Collection - This is a set of works I am currently creating through a mixed-use of AI and my own creations.

Flower Collection - This collection of 40 flower adaptions was released in September. Prices within this collection vary, starting at 0.0005 and working up to 0.005 ETH.

Giants Causeway - My first collection, which sold out quite quickly, but was at a very low price. There were 7 editions initially, with 3 more having been added. Each shows the scenic view of the sun setting over the sea at the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland.

Abstract Collection - So far the works in this collection have mainly been used as part of my giveaways, but more works will follow and be available over the coming weeks.
