Ways to invest in Metaverse

By Siffarr | Cryptoglyph | 18 Jan 2022

As per Emergen research report global Metaverse market size is expected to reach a staggering $830 Billion by 2028. A Metaverse is a 3D immersive world where users could work, play, create, trade etc. Wall Street is convinced that Metaverse will be the next big thing. But if we take off our virtual reality glasses we can see that there is an overhype, everybody is talking about the Metaverse, and the Trillion dollar question remains whether the virtual universe will actually take off.

However, it is a wise move to get some exposure to Metaverse instruments in your portfolio. There are many ways to invest - you could invest in the content creation or the infrastructure side. Here is my $.02 (Not financial advice, please DYOR):

  • ETFs. These ETFs offer investors exposure to the companies innovating in the virtual worlds, and are a good way to get exposure to Metaverse. The Roundhill ball is the first ever metaverse ETF and it comprises 40 companies that are highly active in Metaverse. Find more details here.

  • Crypto Tokens. If you’re bullish on Metaverse, my top picks are Decentraland (MANA) and Sandbox (SAND). They are both ERC-20 tokens, and are frontrunners of the Metaverse.

  • Stocks. My top Metaverse stock picks include the companies that build the infrastructure necessary to build, and support this virtual reality Universe.
  1. Unity
  2. Roblox
  3. Nvidia
  4. AMD
  5. Intel

There are big profits to be made, but speculation will play a big part in the Market. My advice is to read up and research as much as you can and understand the market landscape and various players, before you make any investments. Good Luck!
