LeoDex: Claiming my Rewards After 2 Weeks and Buying More LEO

Another week has passed since the start of the USDC rewards distribution on LeoDex for those who have LEO staked on the platform.

Last week, my earnings amounted to around $0.33, and this week another $0.24 was added, bringing the total to $0.57.

Although it’s a small amount, I still wanted to test the withdrawal feature to verify how it works.

After clicking “Harvest USDC” and approving the transaction, I received 0.566274 USDC in my wallet within seconds — so the process works perfectly!

At this point, since LEO’s price is still around 13–14 cents, I decided to use this small amount to buy 4 LEO.

My first idea was to make the purchase through LeoDex, using Rango as the route.

However, the transaction failed — and it’s not the first time Rango has given me trouble... — so I had to use the pool available directly on Uniswap, which allowed me to complete the swap and obtain about 4 LEO.

After that, I staked my LEO to slightly increase my share of rewards.

Now my wallet holds 5021.65 sLEO:

That’s a meaningful number for me, though still small compared to the total amount of LEO staked on LeoDex, which now exceeds 6 million, for a TVL of over $848,000.

So, more than one-fifth of the entire LEO supply is currently staked on LeoDex, which on one hand shows users’ interest in this feature, but on the other makes the APR quite low at the moment.

The situation would obviously improve if LeoDex managed to attract more trading volume, increasing the affiliate fees generated and, consequently, the distributed rewards.

For now, I’ll continue to periodically claim my rewards and use those earnings to add a few more LEO to my portfolio.

E' trascorsa un'altra settimana dall'inizio della distribuzione delle rewards in USDC su LeoDex in favore di coloro che detengono LEO in stake sulla piattaforma.

La scorsa settimana il mio guadagno ammontava a circa 0.33$ e questa settimana si sono aggiunti altri 0.24$, portando il totale a 0.57$.

Sebbene si tratti di un importo basso, ho comunque voluto provare la funzione di prelievo, in modo da verificarne il funzionamento.

Dopo aver cliccato su "Harvest USDC" ed aver approvato la transazione, mi sono ritrovato in pochi secondi 0.566274 USDC nel portafoglio: la procedura funziona perciò perfettamente!

A questo punto, visto il valore di LEO ancora intorno ai 13/14 centesimi di dollaro, ho deciso di utilizzare questa piccola somma per comprarmi 4 LEO.

La mia prima intenzione è stata quella di perfezionare l'acquisto tramite LeoDex, utilizzando Rango come route.

La transazione tuttavia è fallita - e non è la prima volta che Rango mi dà qualche problema... - per cui sono dovuto ricorrere direttamente alla pool disponibile su Uniswap, grazie alla quale sono stato in grado di completare lo swap ed ottenere circa 4 LEO.

Fatto questo, ho messo i miei LEO in staking, così da accrescere - anche se di poco - la mia porzione di rewards.

Adesso nel mio portafoglio si trovano perciò 5021.65 sLEO:

Un numero per me di una certa importanza, ma comunque piccolo rispetto a tutti LEO presenti in staking su LeoDex che superano ormai i 6 milioni, per un TVL di oltre 848.000 dollari.

Su LeoDex si trova quindi in staking più di un quinto dell'intera supply del token LEO, cosa che da una parte dimostra l'interesse degli utenti per questa funzione, ma dall'altra rende, almeno in questo momento, l'APR decisamente basso.

La situazione sarebbe ovviamente destinata a cambiare ove LeoDex riuscisse ad attrarre ancora più volume di scambi, aumentando le affiliate fees generate e così le rewards distribuite.

Per ora io continuerò a fare periodicamente il claim delle mie ricompense ed ad utilizzare questi guadagni per aggiungere qualche LEO al mio portafoglio.
