Improving My Splinterlands's Collection
Inspired by one of the series of the great @libertycrypto27, concerning the optimization of his card collection on Splinterlands, a couple of days ago I started checking the sale prices of my cards, to see if somewhere there were any underutilized ones worth selling.
I was pleased to discover that my Gold Foil copy of Uraues, an epic from the previous Rewards set, has over time increased in value, currently being sold for about $9.37.
At the same time, I noticed how the Legendaries of the Chaos Legion set have, instead, undergone a significant price reduction, with extremely powerful cards such as Queen Mycelia selling for less than $6.
The opportunity therefore looks like one not to be missed, especially since, although I love my Gold Foil copy of Uraeus, I own a higher level Regular Foil one, so the former has no particular use for me in battle.
On the other hand, there are many legendary cards from the Chaos Legion set that I do not own and some, like Queen Mycelia, even at level 1 provide a significant help on the battlefield.
After completing the process of unlocking my card, I have proceeded to put it up for sale on the market at the lowest possible price, with the hope that someone will soon turn out to be interested in purchasing it.
If everything works out well, at that point I will not only be able to purchase a copy of Queen Mycelia, which will greatly increase the strength of my Nature element lineups, but I will still have some budget available to purchase a second legendary: Void Dragon and Adelaide Brightwing are two excellent candidates and I would be very happy to add one of them to my collection as well!
In addition to Uraeus, I've also put 3 other cards up for sale, always in their Gold Foil version, because currently their cost for the Regular Foil one is much lower and, if I could complete all the sales, I could use the difference to buy a few more useful cards to further enhance my collection.
The doubts I have now, however, are: how much market do these cards have? Will it take a long time before someone buys them? At that time, then, will I still be able to buy the cards I've had my eye on at good prices?
As of now, I have no way of telling, but without some risk there are hardly any results, so I'll wait and hope for the best... maybe before I get to publish this post (a couple of days from when I'm writing this) something will have already changed :)

Miglioramenti alla Mia Collezione su Splinterlands
Prendendo spunto da una delle serie del grande @libertycrypto27, dedicata alla ottimizzazione della sua collezione di carte su Splinterlands, un paio di giorni fa mi sono messo a controllare i prezzi di vendita delle mie carte, per vedere se da qualche parte ce n'era qualcuna poco utilizzata che valesse la pena vendere.
E' stato con piacere che ho così scoperto che la mia copia Gold Foil di Uraues, epica del precedente set Rewards, ha nel tempo aumentato il proprio valore, venendo attualmente venduta per circa 9,37 dollari.
Al contempo ho notato come le Leggendarie del set Chaos Legion abbiano, invece, subito una notevole riduzione di prezzo, con carte estremamente potenti come Queen Mycelia vendute a meno di 6 dollari.
L'occasione mi sembra quindi di quelle da non farsi sfuggire, soprattutto perchè, sebbene adori la mia copia Gold Foil di Uraeus, ne possiedo una di livello superiore Regular Foil, per cui la prima non ha alcuna utilità particolare per me in battaglia.
D'altra parte sono tante le carte leggendarie del set Chaos Legion che non possiedo ed alcune, come Queen Mycelia, anche al livello 1 costituiscono un importante aiuto sul campo di battaglia.
Dopo aver perciò portato a termine la procedura di unlock della mia carta ho provveduto a metterla in vendita sul mercato al prezzo più basso possibile, con la speranza che qualcuno si riveli presto interessato all'acquisto.
Se tutto andrà bene, a quel punto potrò non solo acquistare una copia di Queen Mycelia, che aumenterà notevolmente la forza dei miei schieramenti dell'elemento Natura, ma avrò ancora disponibile un po' di budget per acquistare una seconda leggendaria: Void Dragon e Adelaide Brightwing sono due ottimi candidati e sarei ben contento di aggiungere anche una di loro alla mia collezione!
Oltre ad Uraeus ho messo in vendita anche altre 3 carte, sempre in versione Gold Foil, perchè attualmente il loro costo in versione Regular Foil è molto più basso e, se riuscissi a portare a termine tutte le vendite, potrei usare la differenza per acquistare qualche altra carta utile a potenziare ulteriormente la mia collezione.
I dubbi che adesso però mi pongo sono: quanto mercato hanno queste carte? Occorrerà molto tempo prima qualcuno le acquisti? In quel momento, poi, sarò ancora in grado di acquistare le carte su cui ho messo gli occhi a prezzi favorevoli?
Per ora non ho modo di saperlo, ma senza qualche rischio difficilmente si ottengono risultati, per cui attendo speranzoso... magari prima che arrivi a pubblicare questo post (un paio di giorni da quando lo sto scrivendo) già qualcosa si sarà smosso :)
