The next unicorn DeFi? According to Willy Woo it is Exodus Wallet

Let's start this post by explaining what a unicorn is: in the financial sector, companies that are worth more than a billion dollars are defined as unicorns.

Clearly, therefore, this denomination indicates those companies that preside over a fast growing business and that dominate their market; since DeFi is the new rampant trend in the crypto universe, the fact that an analyst like Willy Woo is publicly unbalanced via twitter in this way deserves to be seriously considered.

Having said that, Woo intervened on Thursday answering a question by Michael Rauchs (who works for Paradigma, a Luxembourg consulting firm) who asked what the start-up was looking for the most interesting financing on the market.

What the author of the tweet probably did not expect was such a clear answer from a person like Willy Woo, usually very discreet in this kind of thing; therefore, according to the analyst, one of the most interesting projects on the market is Exodus Wallet, which is currently conducting a round A of financing.

One of the aspects, according to Woo, more interesting than this project is the great attention in terms of usability that the designers have used.

Exodus is a wallet for cryptocurrencies that has a native exchange inside it; the most interesting thing, in my opinion, of this project is that it is one of the few wallets which, besides being able to be used on both desktop and smartphone, is compatible with trezor therefore it offers all the security of a hardware wallet.

As you can read on the site, in fact:

Exodus and Trezor have worked together to improve the experience of the hardware portfolio, simplifying security and allowing anyone to safely manage digital assets.

In practice one of the aspects that most users complain about regarding the use of hardware wallets is usability; exodus has solved the problem, instead of developing yet another hardware wallet, integrating what remains one of the most used products by the community.

In this way users have all the guarantees in terms of safety guaranteed by Trezor, but with the high usability typical of Exodus.

Another not insignificant aspect is the assistance provided to users which makes it a deeply different wallet from others on the market; in a sense exodus seems to introduce the concept of intermediation in the world of wallets, which, especially for less experienced users, is truly a godsend.

If Exodus really becomes a billion dollar company, it's still early to say, but since it has received such an important endorsement, it's worth keeping an eye on it.
