Spending bitcoins using any bank account is now possible with the strike payment application

Those who are active in the world of cryptocurrencies are already familiar with instant conversion cards, which allow you to spend bitcoins at any POS-equipped business; these devices do nothing but withdraw BTC from our wallet, convert them to fiat currency and then turn the amount due to the payment recipient's account.

Until now, however, it had never occurred to anyone that it could be useful, and necessary, to go the other way round and that is withdraw money in fiat currency from a bank account and turn the payment to the beneficiary in BTC.

The developers of Strike have thought about it and actually, despite a little initial skepticism, the more I think about it the more I realize how useful this type of operation can be to encourage the adoption of bitcoins.

The reason is simple, if a merchant wanted to get paid only in bitcoin he would have to convince his customers to learn how to use this technology, buy a hardware wallet, manage the security of his funds, buy coins with his credit card; all quite complicated.

Now, however, the same merchant could simply download an app (it is in beta, I will talk about it when it is available on the google and apple stores), connect it to a normal current account and the customer could thus easily use his own currency FIAT to pay the merchant in BTC.

Strike uses the Lightning network to manage transactions quickly and securely, infinitely simplifying the management of bitcoin payments for those who do not know this technology and do not intend to know it.

The applications are many, we think trivially to those who travel abroad and may decide, instead of changing their money in local currency to settle the hotel bill, to look for a hotel that accepts bitcoin payments, at which point using Strike can pay your account simply, quickly and securely using the money deposited into your bank account.
