Dogecoin lands on Binance (you can buy and deposit)

Binance announced in a statement on its website that the Dogecoin cryptocurrency (DOGE) is now available for trading, with the following pairs: DOGE / BNB, DOGE / BTC, DOGE / USDT, DOGE / PAX and DOGE / USDC. Furthermore, users are given the opportunity to deposit their Dogecoin on the exchange, in preparation for future trading.

In the hours following the announcement by the most famous exchange in the world, the cryptocurrency has been an immediate success, so much so that the DOGE token has grown by about 31% on launch day, and most of the gains have been recorded in about 30 minutes from the publication of the post.

Moreover, it is a particularly brilliant story. We recall how Dogecoin started as a "joke" by Billy Markus, who created a cryptocurrency for his own purposes, calling it "doge", like a meme representing a Shiba Inu dog.

However, the joke has turned into something very serious. Currently the cryptocurrency is the 26th most important in the world by market capitalization, and the total value is now over 500 million dollars.

We recall that already in May, Coinbase, the main US exchange for cryptocurrencies, had added support for Dogecoin to its Coinbase Wallet.
