Brave Browser launches Brave Togheter to make video calls

The Brave browser launches the video calling system "Brave Together", and thus places itself in direct competition with industry apps such as Zoom, but also Facebook, Whatsapp, Skype etc.

The service is currently only available in the United States and for users of Brave Nightly, the alpha version of Brave. What is Brave Togheter

Using Brave Togheter seems easy: the browser will in fact have a widget, like the one it appears to access BAT tokens and Binance, and video calls can be started from there.

Brave Together was created through Jitsi, which provides open source projects to develop security-focused video conferencing apps.

Unlike Zoom, both Brave Together and Google Meet are free. On the contrary Zoom is a freemium service, that is free but with limitations that are removed by purchasing the paid version.

The Brave browser with its evolution aims to further grow its users and to grab even those who in this moment of restrictions due to Coronavirus are using apps for video conferencing and video calls.
