SoftBank is a multinational financial holding company based in Tokyo, founded on 3 September 1981 by Masayoshi Son; we are talking about a real industrial giant, the third largest listed company in Japan after Toyota and MUFG and currently in the top 100 of the largest companies in the world, according to Forbes, SoftBank is active in sectors such as telephony (both fixed and mobile), Internet broadband connections, e-commerce, finance, marketing, semiconductor design and more. According to a press release issued last December, SoftBank has developed a debit card (what we commonly call ATM cards in Italy) that has an integrated wallet blockchain, developed in collaboration with Dynamics, a card developer with based in the United States. The new product is called SBC Wallet Cards and can be used both as a traditional debit card and as a blockchain wallet, currently only in Japan but, according to the development plan presented by the company, the service will soon be extended to the entire South-East Asian and USA.

The SBC Wallet Cards will work through an app that will allow the legal storage of coins, as well as allowing the use of the card for online purchases and ATM withdrawals; the user can check the card balance and any other information in real time as well as being able to exchange cryptocurrencies with fiat currencies and vice versa. In addition to the normal basic functions that we all expect from a card of this type, the new SBC product will also allow users to check smart appliances at home by securely authenticating thanks to the personal data stored on the card. As anyone can understand, therefore, with the arrival of these new tools the cryptocurrencies are ready to break into our daily lives and to spread more and more quickly, the more simple and immediate their use becomes; this new type of cards, in fact, if accompanied by a reasonable regulation, such as the one currently under discussion in Germany that will allow banks to act as intermediaries also for what concerns the crypts, inevitably end up encouraging the use of cryptocurrencies as means of payment in everyday life, with a consequent exponential increase in global adoption.
