Have you played the trading card game, named Splinterlands? It's one of the top games in the trading card blockchain game category. Users earn the DEC and SPS by playing the game. Not just that there is also rewards for posting about your gaming experience and other game related content on Hive.
The team behind the Splinterlands is making some waves with new updates. First update is Riftwatchers. I will cover that one in one of it's dedicated posts. Another update is the Tower Defense Game. If you are interested you should check out their Roadmap.

What's included in the Tower Defense Game?
The game would have around 25 types of the towers to play with in the game. Each tower can also add it's own Spells. Those spells would become the NFT in the ecosystem. It also includes the heroes fighting with the enemy waves in the game. So you'd be holding on those cards in the trading card game would come in handy too.
Each card being used per fight would be less usable in the next fight till the recharge power is regained. This is made to prevent the bots in the Splinterlands. As the game being PVE would mostly get the bots to interfere with the normal gameplay. DEC tokens can also be used to speed up the recharge process but that would not be possible for all and thus slows down the Bot process here.
There is also going to be inclusion of DEC, SPS and the Voucher tokens into the game. You would also see the PVP and the Co-op mode included in the near future in the roadmap. So pretty interesting news for the Splinterlands users.
At the end, I feel it's a good update and also for those who like owning the cards and keeping the passive stake into the game. This would be another good update for you. I suppose you may have to play a bit competitive to increase the value of your assets. That way you would make your investment attractive in near time in this tower defense game.
