A lot of people know what is polymarket and how does it work. But I was kind of new to this sort of the market where the predictions, betting and the opinions were traded. So this can be used as a weapon to flip the nations, elections and the people sentiment. So I decided to learn about it and learned few things. 

Tech wise I have learned that it is built on the Polygon blockchain and the UMA protocol. So the question and the voting format of the UMA protocol is being used in the polymarket heavily. On UMA people kind of get voting APR for their opinion and the votes there. 

But on Polymarket you are on the betting market. You join a question, bet on the outcome. 

So here you are getting the bets on the Yes and no and it has some parameters like any govt employee comes out and mention about govt keeping the documents and leaks the govt official opinion of alien existence, that would make this question run in the smart contract for output. 

And anyone who bet more on this would get paid. So such prediction market works. It can be used to flip the govt by betting on the party with most funds and the people leaning opinion. Some opinion can be bought by artificially raising the sentiments. Like it was done with the trump vs harris. 

So this in short is a gamble. And if you are good with gamble and have money to burn this is the market where you bet like you do with the stocks. :)
