Metaverses need lot of backing of VC and the sponsorship for the survival of the business. And as long as the metaverse needs to stay relevant to the real life consumerism. If they don't get the local business into the game or even the international one there is going to be rapid decline of their world. And also it would be harder to even retain the existing users. So having some real use case attached to the metaverse matters a lot. 

Recently Life Beyond game which is a scifi game metaverse, has managed to get into the partnership with the Honda Motors. They will be integrating the automotive use case in the game. 

Animoca brands being the brand behind the publishing for the Life beyond. They have signed with the Honda automotive Japan for this deal. And they have also managed to do this partnership for the automotive related integration within the game.
