Clash of Clan was one of the game on the mobile that made Age of Empire like narrative more fun to play. Like collecting the resources, being more competitive and then taking that towards survival. Now this type of the game approach is being used by many Japanese, Korean and the US based games in this genre.
Fortitude a game published on the Gala Games is just like that. It has the similar narrative like Age of Empire except the survival part and NFTs.
All players get the base where the game begins. Here two important resource - Mana and Gold needs to be mined and developed. So once that traction is taken the move towards the development of village base starts. And you are not going to do that in peace, you would get attacked. You would build up and level up your base and the resource building.
You have some of the items in the game which would be part of the NFT marketplace. And you would be able to build on the account value if you happen to sell the level up items. The default items would be regularly part of the gala marketplace where you can buy it. Currently in the alpha a lot of it is out for the sale and some of it is even sold.
Gala has their own layer 2 chain on the Ethereum. So they have their own token and the NFTs, along with rewards and the marketplace.
What you would find interesting is that the game has a good setup with the Gala being it's publisher. And the price of the in game token is good too. So you are not losing on that front. Gala has reputation of building playable games with the rewards enabled. So you are good on that front too. So give that one a try.
