The KOY Network C.E.O Richard Erikodi recently shared a new community update on the 13th of February 2024. The update contained information about the features of the new version. Below are the features of the real McKOY.

New Blockchain Infrastructure: The KOY 2.0 is coming with a fresh blockchain that will offer Blockchain as a Service function to support fintech and payment providers.

Block Producers: The community will nominate Independent Block Producers, Node Operators and Entities to manage the blockchain.

KOY Jumuiya DAO Role Expanded: The DAO's Role has been expanded as a special recognition of the DAO for being a vibrant participant in the ecosystem.

Account Restoration: Accounts owners via Antelope Access will have their accounts restored and gain access once they provide their original keys.

Organisational Reorganisation: A broad restructuring has taken place in business operations. The technical services will now be in-house as employees will supervise the platform so that external contractors won't have access to back-end systems.

Account ownership and control: Account owners will still have full ownership of both their accounts and tokens.
