Will there be a time when all Nfts hit zero and everyone loses their money? Is it possible?
It is pretty possible, in the 1630 in Holland the first speculation bubble happened which was that tulip bulbs were traded and sold for more and more and everyone was into it because the tulips rose and rose in value. People were going crazy and there were tulip bulbs that were sold for outrageous amounts of money. People were trading their houses and life savings for tulip bulbs just like people do with cryptocurrencies.
One day it all came to an end where people were not ready to pay more for tulip bulbs. People got worried and sold their tulip bulbs so they wouldn't lose so much but if everyone sells and no one buys, the price goes down. In some days the tulips were down to a dollar or maybe two. People lost everything because of that they bought tulip bulbs for all they had and speculated that the price would rise.
This is pretty similar to Nfts because no one would buy an ape picture for millions if people didn't see an opportunity to buy something and sell it for more. Would you still buy a nft if you knew that you would never get the money that you sold it for back? No of course not, people only buy nfts because they think that they will make money. No one really wants the nft to keep it. That is what caused the tulip crash in 1630. So what about crypto currencies, won't it crash in the future too then? Actually no I don't think so because even if a bitcoin is worth plenty of money you can still buy for example 0.001 which is much cheaper than 1 bitcoin. You can only buy one nft and pay the whole price and cryptocurrencies are more than just pictures.
