Jeronimo Bakes, an Australian developer is working on an app that will allow payments in Cardano in Shopify Stores.

The store owners who will want to accept ADA payments will only need to select it as payment option.

Backes said that he chose Cardano because he sees it as the most enterprise-ready blockchain:

“Unlike others, this one is the one I think is being built to last. It’s not like Ethereum, EOS, Tron, and others who are still in a proof-of-concept phase in relation to large-scale business use-cases.”

What do you guys think? Can this have a strong positive impact on Cardano in particular and on crypto adoption in general? Will there be a large number of Shopify owners willing to adopt this as a payment method?

The Cardano and Shopify integration is said to be released by the end of the year.
