They say that the world's first trillionaire is already alive today. I agree with "them" and I believe this will be the creator of bitcoin himself.
Mr. Nakamoto owns somewhere between 980,000 to 1.1 million bitcoin. Many believe that because these coins are not currently active, that he is no longer alive or for some reason able to use these coins. I believe that this is not the case. Someone who has the intelligence and vision knows the true value that bitcoin can one day achieve. Knowing the potential of these coins, it would be a shame to waste or sell off 1 million bitcoin today. We are at such an infancy in the digital asset space.
At the current rate of 3,500(roughly) per bitcoin. The 1.1 million bitcoin owned would come out to a total value of 3.8 billion dollars in USD.
I also think that the creation of bitcoin was not so that Satoshi Nakamoto could become wealthy. I say that to make the point that I don't think that he is holding 1mil bitcoin to one day sell and profit from the creation. Someone with that amount of vision and intelligence would already have enough money to live off of from other creations or hard work put into another past career or venture. I do however think that Satoshi Nakamoto would send some of his bitcoin to help people. Maybe to some charities, or some organization with proven ability to lead innovation or help populations.
This brings me to the decision that I am not going to touch my bitcoin until I believe that the true vision of the tech has been realized by the world in entirety. This vision is subjective to us all unless we are the original creators. Though, I think that everyone can agree that we have not yet come close to seeing the end result. I am a very small owner in bitcoin with an amount of only .02 bitcoin. I work a full time 9-5 job and am by no means a large crypto owner. I still, will choose to hold that .02 bitcoin until the vision that was realized comes to light.
I do not think that Satoshi will use his supply to support charities or fund innovations until bitcoin has reached a value of 7 digits per coin. Once the value of bitcoin hits 1 million dollars per coin, his 1.1 million bitcoin will be at a total value of over 1 trillion dollars.
This will make Satoshi Nakamoto the world's first trillionaire.
