Few months ago I've discovered that I wasn't able to withdraw my BAT received from the Brave Rewards program and I've mentioned this in a previous post, hoping that maybe someone within the Publish0x community has an idea about solving this situation. Since then I haven't focused too much on Brave Rewards. Moreover, I've used for about 2 months another web browser instead of Brave, but I've return to Brave due to it's efficiency in blocking ads on various websites.
However, in November I've started a journey outside of my country and I've purchased a VPN in order to be safe while accessing my accounts during my trip. A VPN (Virtual Private Network) allows you to connect to a server that is in a different location that the server that you are connecting while accessing your Wi-Fi connection or your mobile connection. Accordingly, you may be in a country in Europe and your connection shows that you are in a country in Asia.
On the market are available many options for VPNs. My choice was Surfshark VPN because it was at a very good price for 2 years and it allows users to install and use it on multiple devices. After installing Surfshark VPN on my laptop, I've started to use it before leaving my home country. After several days I had the idea to check if I can withdraw my BAT from Brave Rewards program by using the VPN and connecting from one of those countries that are on the list where withdrawing BAT from Brave Rewards is available.
While using the VPN I've connected the Brave Rewards to my Gemini account and I received the amount of BAT. So it seems that everything worked fine and I've managed to get my rewards into the Gemini account. Great! Finally there is a solution to receive the BAT coins into an exchange and use them to trade. Even if the prices are very low now, it is good to have access to the coins for those times when prices are going up and you can trade them.
Hopefully this post will help those people in countries where Brave Rewards withdraw is not available to get their BAT into their exchange account. Of course, this means to have a VPN, but if you have it, you may try this idea and see if it works for you too. It is important to mention that in several countries VPNs are blocked and can't be used at their fully functionalities. Consequently, it doesn't mean that if I was able to withdraw my BAT from Brave Rewards, this will work for anyone in each country that is on the list of countries that can't withdraw their BAT.
