The price of bitcoin has been been going up a lot these past few days and today alone is up by about 13% in the last 24 hours. That's pretty impressive, and right now the price is around $7,898 according to coinmarketcap. I know it actually reached 8,000 earlier today so it was able to reach that price for a while. It has been going up pretty fast and who knows how much of a bull run it will get before it goes down.

I thought it was pretty cool because I heard one of my co-workers talking about it. I have only heard a few people where I live that know about bitcoin and this one was mentioning how big the price jump was. I am hoping that it will continue to go up a lot more, but we can only tell with time. I will update you again when something cool happens with the price.
