Today, the stock broker Trade Republic has started a brand new referral program. Actually, it is the first referral program that broker has ever offered.

Both the referrer and the new customer get a bonus of 15€ if the new customer uses an invite link, signs up and buys at least one stock. (Buying and selling stocks costs only 1€ in fees on Trade Republic.) 

But there are good reasons to sign up with Trade Republic beyond the bonus offer.

I have been using Trade Republic Republic ever since they started in Germany and I have never had any problems with their service. Even their customer support is alright for such a bargain broker. I had one question about a tax calculation and I received a friendly and professional explanation within a couple of hours.

Trade Republic exclusively uses Lang & Schwarz Exchange for buying and selling stocks and ETFs. The spreads are usually very low -- especially between 9:00 and 17:30 German time. For extra convenience, they offer extended trading hours from 7:30 to 23:00 (German time zone).

The stock selection is very good. I have been able to buy stocks which I wasn't able to buy with other brokers -- such as Hain Celestial. 

Every buy or sell of a stock costs exactly 1€. No additional hidden fee. They also offer ETFs that can be bought and sold for 1€.

One possible disadvantage is that they only offer their service via their mobile app. But the app works really well.
