First Hack Of 2024! 80 Million lost

Happy New Year everyone!
With just two days into the new year we already see the first bick Hack in our beloved crypto world.

This time it hit the South Korean Orbit Chain bridge. The bridge lost reportedly 80 Million Dollars in assets during a obviously preventable hack over the new Year.

As most of the stolen funds were stablecoins, 9500 Eth were stolen, too. They are worth about 22 Million Dollars while I'm writing this.

A private researcher that calls himself "officer CIA" claimed the hackers had access to 7 out of 10 necessary multi signatures which usually intent to make the network more secure instead of opening hackers an entry.

The orbit team published a statement to ask all big exchanges to freeze the stolen funds as soon as possible.

What's happening next is still unclear but I will keep you updated as soon as new informations are coming out.
