The news has been out for some time and we were surely waiting for it: PancakeSwap finally released their new auto-compounding CAKE pool!
Yes, auto-compounding CAKE pools were already available in some other yield optimizers as PancackeBunny, but still having it directly on PancakeSwap is a very nice addition!
So, how is this different from any other auto-compounding pool? Well, by the fact that is not actually auto-compounding by itself, but by someone who invested in the pool, so, basically… you!
Yes, if you invested in the pool, you will have the ability to claim the "Auto CAKE Bounty", which means you will basically push a button that will compound all the CAKE in the pool (so, you’re doing that for everyone who invested in the pool at once!), you will be paying the transaction fee and, for your effort, you will be rewarded with a small CAKE amount. This will ensure that CAKE on the pool will be compounded often (probably, as soon as the bounty is higher than the transaction fee paid), giving an APY probably higher than the one advertised (that they calculated assuming compounding every hour).
