If you've done anything vaguely crypto-related, you probably have the term 'mining' stuck in your head. Mining may seem complex and the apparent need for high end computer systems, abundance of fake sites and some software that can crash your computer will deter most beginners from indulging in mining as a source of crypto. I am in that boat too! So I only dabble in things that are easy to use, proven to be paying and don't require any investments.
After a lot of research I ventured into the 'mining' world with cryptotab browser and I am happy I did this. It's not earning a huge deal of Crypto, but is great as a starter.
The software / app that you will be using is an internet browser that is chrome based. This short article will guide you to maximising the earnings without needing to invest any amount.

You can join up with a google /facebook / apple / twitter / vk account (I created a new google account for this, but you can join with your exisiting account). Depending on what you are using (Android, iOS, Windows or MacOS), you can download the appropriate software and install - nothing very fancy in that. Once you open the software, login using the credentials (google, for example). Here is a super-simplified guide.
1. Activate earning: On the mobile app, there will be an option on the dashboard to activate mining or similar and you can use this to start off. Do not activate cloudboost or other options at this stage as these cost a fair amount of money. IF YOU DO NOT START MINING, THERE WILL BE NO EARNINGS!
2. Adjust the speed of mining using the sliders to optimise your usage. You can decrease it if you're doing many tasks on your computer. You will take a few days to optimise this. Remember to maximise mining speed when you are not using the computer
3. Re-activate mining every 2 hours on the mobile app (lite). So quickly check every couple of hours to ensure that mining is active. There is a timer that shows how much time is left.
4. Focus on the mining window (dashboard) when you can. Especially on the computer (windows or MacOS), you will find that this increases the speed of the mining significantly. In fact there is a little note on the dashboard menu (on the right) that states this. So when you're not actively using another software or window, just focus on the dashboard tab of cryptotab and you're earnings will increase by 50-100% at least
5. Close all unused apps, windows and software you are not using. This will ensure more CPU usage is available for cryptotab
6. Watch your battery and make sure you are not in battery saver mode (this will throttle CPU speed and also sleep your internet session). Leave your device plugged in if possible.
7. Refer people to the program. This is a slightly more elaborate referral system and is 10 levels deep! You can advertise your referral link legitly in many ways and cryptotab offers a lot of promo material to help you publicise your link

1. This is where you activate / re-activate mining and adjust the speed
2. Shows the realtime mining speed
3. Shows the statistics of earnings that are updated every few minutes
