It seems Airdrop season is back again as couple of days back I wrote a post about Arbitrum announcing the list of users that are eligible to claim their $ARB tokens and now we have got the confirmation about $ID tokens being launched by SPACE ID project. When more and more projects are feeling confident to airdrop their native tokens, then it is a clear signal for me that the next bull run is all set to start.
In this post I will be covering what is this SPACE ID Project, how is their Airdrop structured and most importantly how can you become eligible to get this Airdrop.
What is SPACE ID?
Just like ENS platform enabled users to register IDs ending with “.eth” to facilitate easy to remember and use wallet addresses on Ethereum blockchain, SPACE ID extended the same concept to Binance and Arbitrum chains and allows you to register “.bnb” and “.arb” adresses.
ENS already airdropped their native $ENS tokens to early adopters of .eth wallet holders. It was in fact one of the biggest airdrops ever.
It was being speculated for a while that SPACE will soon airdrop $ID tokens and perhaps it was waiting for the market situation to improve before going ahead with it.
How is the Airdrop of $ID structured?
SPACE has planned their airdrop in 2 parts. The snapshot for the first airdrop was finalised on 10th March 2023. Users who had registered bnb wallets before this cut-off date will be able to claim first part of the airdrop on 22nd March 2023.
The second part of the airdrop will be for people registering their .bnb or .arb addresses after 10th March. It will be conducted on a referral basis.
The second part is quite similar to Blur launched the second wave of airdrop by rewarding token boxes that will contain a random number of tokens.
How do you become Eligible for 2nd Airdrop?
In case you are getting a part of the 1st Airdrop then congratulations but even if you missed out on it you can still join the 2nd Airdrop.
For being included in the second part of the airdrop you will have to register using the referral link. I am including below my referral link.

Once you register using the referral link above you will be rewarded one token chest which will contain a random number of $ID tokens. How many tokens you have received will be revealed on 23rd March 2023.
To complete your registration you will need to register at least one .bnb or .arb wallet address. It is currently quite cheap and you can register a new .arb address for a duration for 1 year for as low as $5.
I will be writing a follow up post on 23rd March to share how many tokens they have rewarded through the airdrop and what is the market price of those tokens.
