As the Use cases of AI keep growing so does the debate if AI will eventually be useful for us or harmful. Whether we will end up with a Terminator kind of situation only time will tell but for now I would like to share one practical use of AI which I find really useful for regular analysis of Crypto based projects.

Why Deep Analysis of AI Projects is Important!

AI is the biggest meta nowadays and as we saw in previous cycles everyone decides to make a project on this meta with many being obvious scams. Even from the projects that are not intentional rugs it is very difficult to identify the ones that will be sustainable long term and the ones that will die out soon.

A big challenge is that there are not many reliable tools to evaluate feasibility of AI projects as the concept is so new.

Coming up with an Approach to Analyse Genesis Projects on Virtuals!!

I have been focusing a lot lately on the new AI based Genesis projects that are being launched on Virtuals platform running on BASE blockchain.

Recently I came across a post on CT by a popular user called Hoeem, where he had shared about how prompts can be used to evaluate how good a new crypto project is.

I decided it to test it on a new launch for a project called ASCEND and after running the prompts I saw that the project was an obvious rug. I stayed away from the project and soon saw that it crashed right after the launch.

I have now decided to use this approach for all new projects that I consider investing in. The next project I am going to try it out on is called EVA Agent Online.

AI is really powerful if used well as it can save days and days of manual research effort that a AI agent can do in minutes.

However you need to be careful that the AI output will need a sanity check as the AI agent can make mistakes while interpreting human factors. One clear example I noticed is that AI agents can not interpret social media hype as genuine or manipulated.

Running the Prompts on EVA Agent Online!

When I look at the evaluation done by AI Agent for EVA I see that it get’s a score of 6 overall which may seem very average. If I see this score with the context that this is a project that has not been launched and there is no detailed documentation yet then this score is pretty good.

For me the 2 factors that stand out are:

• Differentiation- This project is going to offer Innovative solution which is currently not being provided by any established teams, which is a great plus if they can deliver
• Team & backers- This is backed by the 0N1 team that is known for their expertise in innovation that they have proven in NFT space.

Main USP for EVA is their mission to provide AI agents with “Soul” that improve with time. This will be a game changer if deployed well as no one likes talking to an obvious machine and everyone is looking for meaningful soul-to-soul connections.
