If you have been going through my previous posts you would have noticed a clear trend that I have posting more and more about SUI based projects.

This started from last year when I got an amazing airdrop from DEEP which was then followed by big airdrops from SuiNS, SuiLEND, Kriya and most recently by Walrus.

What makes SUI airdrops different from EVM is that SUI rewards even small users who are regular. This makes SUI much better than EVM projects that are basically just farming the farmers and rewarding the whales who push big volumes.

My Strategy While interacting with SUI Projects!

Since the time I started getting involved with Crypto projects over 7 years back I have always been clear about 2 roles that I always followed.

• Diversify my Portfolio: I started out as a Bitcoin maxi but then I started getting into Ethereum. Next the alt coins, followed by DeFI projects, NFT trends, Blockchain games and so on. I always kept a lookout for which was the emerging trends as I realised most gains were made in the cycle with the new emerging trends and the cycle for new trends are getting shorter and shorter. I keep expanding my portfolio with new projects but I always ensure that Bitcoin and Ethereum form the core of my holdings. 
• Avoid investing Own capital: From the start if my crypto journey I did not use my earnings from 9 to 6 job to invest in crypto. I always used airdrops, earnings from content creation, promotional giveaways from new projects etc. Most of the airdrops now are not worth the effort grinding for them but the earlier Airdrops provided a lot of liquidity for just trying out the projects. Uniswap and Arbitrum are some of the good examples. One reason for this is that I have seen many people who mixed their real life earnings with crypto and their degenate gambling made them lose their real life assets.

Why am I really Bullish on Ika?

After a long time I am so excited about a project. Ika has me really intrigued as it is already collaborating with the biggest projects on SUI like Walrus.

It is still really early in it’s roadmap and the first product it has launched is the MF Squid NFT collection. The NFT launch clearly shows that Ika has grand plans for the future.

It is so much more than a regular PFP collection. With the minting process everyone has received Ika NFT packs and there is still a lot of mystery around how these packs will be used. There are already rumours running strong about what all will come out of the NFT packs and how each NFT will generate Ink by staking of the NFTs.

I can already see the whole SUI community FOMOing hard to grab as many MF Squid NFTs as possible.

The Ika NFT collection started as a whitelist mint for around 6 SUI and soon after it minted out the floor went to 20 SUI. Now the floor is close to 50 SUI as people find out more about the potential utilities are collecting more and levelling them up.

One factor that is really attracting new users to the NFT collection is the thrill of encountering Keys while upgrading your NFT which will have additional future use cases. 

What More can Ika Do?

Many people who have just got to know about Ika think it is just another NFT collection. They don’t realise the project is much bigger and ambitious and the NFT collection is just the start. 

The two key use cases Ika will be focusing on are:

• Overcome risks of Traditional Bridges: Most bridges lock tokens in native chain and present wrapped version of the tokens in destination chain. This has a high security risk which can be exploited by hackers. Ika is working on a model to eliminate this risk.
• dWallet Functionality- Ika will enable users to have a central wallet that can access tokens from different chains. It also aims at introducing security features to reduce the risk of exposure to their private keys.

I have a strong hunch that Ika is really going to explode in coming months and help establish SUI as the ultimate Altcoin of this cycle.
