I have been claiming Candies everyday on Coingecko since the first day it was launched. It became like a morning routine for me to wake up, check crypto prices, claim candies and  then proceed to your normal day.

Currently I have more than 35,000 candies in my account and I regularly use any interesting offer that comes up for the candies.

The biggest one time use of candies I have done was for claiming the Access Protocol (ACS) tokens through Coingecko. Shoutout to Paul for reminding me when the tokens were credited and available for staking. Holding onto that one for long term.

For a while now I had stopped checking the rewards section on Coingecko as it had been dormant for quite some time. I thought good offers will only come once the bull run kicks in hard.

Few days back I just randomly looked at the rewards page and I was surprised to see a new reward posting for claiming SEI tokens through the Learn and Earn section of Coingecko.

How to Claim the 50 $SEI Tokens?

The first eligibility criteria is for you to be registered Coingecko user with 60 candies in your account which you will have if you have been claiming candies for 3 consecutive days.

After claiming the access code using the 60 candies tokens you need to follow the additional steps before going to Learn & Earn Quiz:

• Follow the SEI handle on Twitter
• Have a SEI wallet either on Compass or Fin
• Add SEI token to your portfolio on Coingecko

Pretty basic steps which should not take you more than a few minutes.

Keep in mind that only the first 18,000 accounts will be eligible for the claim, I am not able to see a tracker of how many people have already registered for the claim.

The deadline for making the claim is 29th November so there is just a couple of days left as of the date of writing this post.

Next you need to watch the video explaining main features of SEI blockchain. After that you can attempt the quiz that includes 12 questions and after you have answered the questions you will be asked to submit your SEI wallet address, your Twitter handle and e-mail address.

If you have the patience to go through the video then the questions are quite basic to answer and even if you are bit unsure about any of the questions then you can google the answers which many people have already posted. 

Great Opportunity to get some SEI

In my opinion any sort of free token is a good token but I think SEI is one of the better alt-coins from a long term perspective. 

When Coingecko had launched the SEI Learn & Earn campaign the SEI token was worth about $0.11 and as of today it is trading for about $0.22 and was in fact $0.25 a few days back.

SEI was worth about $0.17 when it was launched in August this year and then later slumped to the level of $0.10. That seems like a bottom for it as it has been recovering strongly from there and I think it may do really well in the next bull run.

It is up to you whether you stake the SEI you get long term or use it to try our some other new project in the crypto space.

Once you have completed the claiming process there would be a review done to select the 18,000 eligible addresses. They have not given a clear date when the tokens will be credited but they have mentioned that they will send a communication to your registered e-ail. I will definitely do a follow up post once those SEI tokens hit my wallet.
