In this post I will be talking about 7K which is a Trading app on SUI where you can place Limit orders, set recurring DCA buys or perform simple regular swaps. It has recently introduced a Memcoin Launchpad and soon going to start LP options as well.
Currently it is like a hidden gem of SUI with just 20K followers on Twitter/X but I expect that to change rapidly as it rolls out more features and gains more popularity.
How to Position Yourself for the Upcoming Airdrop?
7K has started a points program where you earn 1 Drop for each $100 of trade you perform using 7K.
It is possible that you may have already collected some Drops without realising it as many Aggregator DEXs on SUI use 7K as one of the options.
I am not a very regular trader but still I have managed to climb to rank 1,844 on the leaderboard which means right now there are not many users who are actively working on this airdrop.
If you are active on SUI blockchain and are planning to buy/sell some airdropped tokens or get into some new memecoin I will recommend using 7K next time so you keep earning some Drop points with each transaction.

What Are Droplets?
As you collect more and more Drop points you will keep improving your eligibility for the future airdrop from 7K. On top of that there are additional benefits for people who are able to accumulate large amount of Drop. You can use these Drops to mint special NFTs called Droplets are limited and there will ever be max of 7,200 Droplets that can be minted. As of now about 2,000 Droplets have been minted so I expect in some weeks they will be completely minted out.
These Droplet NFTs are expected to have future utility in the 7K ecosystem and are available in the NFT trading markets like Tradeport for about 13 SUI.
What Next?
Around mid-April &K team is going to launch the WL and Public mint of a special NFT series called Tako and the art is really amazing.
The complete set of use cases for Taco NFTs have not been announced yet but what has been shared is that 10% of the airdrop from 7K will be reserved for Tako NFT holders.
This means that considering there will be just 7,777 Tako NFTs the price for each will easily exceed 100 SUI so getting a WL will be really useful.
