Another day, another contest (even if it's just a mini competition this time) in the wonderful crypto-paradise.
I woke up in the morning and while reading my e-mails I found an announcement from Publish0x that a new mini-competition is in progress: #myAMPLrebase - $AMPL Mini Twitter Competition Announcement! $100 in Prizes to 5 Winners!.
It took me a couple of hours today, due to driving almost all day, but I finally I managed to tweet my balance on Twitter, according to all the conditions stipulated in the rules.
Basically what I had was almost 1x AMPL received a as a Giveaway Reward in the Tip #AMPLificationWeekend with this tweet. Immediately, on the 1st of December I withdrew that amount into my Atomic Wallet and the transaction went through without any problems. On the 2nd of December, at approximately 04:11AM the $AMPL reached my wallet.
After two days, the amount grew to almost 1.050 AMPL, that's almost 11% increase.
But what actually do I like the most regarding Ampleforth?
As far as I understand, Ampleforth main goal is to reinvent money, based on the blockchain technology and crypto "magic". Ampleforth is a DeFi project, still I have to learn what DeFi exactly mean. I'm still a little bit confused about the meaning, role and purpose of DeFi.
Besides the technical explanation, what I really like the most about AMPL is that the value stays the same and having AMPL in my wallet allows me to always have at my disposal a fund to buy other crypto-currencies.
