Crypto Art is an artistic movement in which artists who, thanks to NFT technology, create digital works on a Blockchain participate, often anonymously, independently.

For this reason the works of Crypto Art are also called NFT Art.

A non-fungible token (NFT) is like the immutable identity document of a digital file. It is also called a Smart Contract.

An NFT is a strip of code that represents a digital file created at a certain time, by a certain author on a Blockchain. From that moment it is usable for everyone and purchasable: in pieces or in its entirety.

The digitized information of an NFT (for example: author, date of execution and then buyer, etc.) cannot be changed or duplicated once inserted in the Blockchain.

So when it comes to NFT, while the digital file can be played endless times, its ownership or authorship remains unique.

NFT Art are digital works (or digitizations of physical works) made as a non-fungible token. The authorship and ownership of an NFT Art work is unique and defined by the NFT itself (which, being on the Blockchain, cannot be tampered with or changed).

The use of an NFT Art work, on the other hand, is collective:

anyone can download it and use it as they see fit.
