The ongoing wait for recovery from the Xeggex Exchange hack continues.
More than likely based on an advising dev's advice to cut off the swirling chat and various customers and pundits' opinions of what happened, who's responsible and what should happen to them, Xeggex's "CEO" announced a closing of their official discord main chat, blocking any new posting. Much of the problem has been associated with 1) false information being pushed by some characters, 2) threats made by other characters, and 3) the usual swirl of reaction and pissed off people wondering where there crypto money went. The latest chatter indicates that any USDT and USDC holdings are definitely gone, and some of the culprits may have crossed borders to go into hiding with sizable chunks of stolen digital money in their proverbial wallets.
In short, things are not looking good for a status quo return for Xeggex, but, so far no one is reporting a loss of their other crypto holdings besides the big 2 stable coins above. It's just an ugly wait-and-see game as a result of an unregulated trading environment.

The move is not surprising coming from Karl himself. The rumor mill is already identifying him specifically as the culprit in the mess now versus the character who's wallet was hacked. Yet, little or no substantiation exists yet on what exactly happened where, aside from blockchain movements.

And as for sir Karl himself, there continues to be no mercy or forgiveness in memes. Ugh.
