The Taco Project has been a well-known collection of WAX Blockchain ventures which, collectively, have proven to be fairly resilient and lasting. With the exception of Taco Racers, much of what makes up the Taco gaming universe has remained popular, regardless of what else has occurred in the crypto world the last two years. Starting off with the Extractor side, Taco has already been in play with the Shing collection, both through Taco Venues and the Extractors themselves, representing some of the earliest Taco NFTs that became available after early launch, aside from ingredients. Then came Brigade, an easy on-ramp NFT game Taco created as an enhancement of Venues, and eventually Acryptia followed as Taco's first skill-based card game.
Since the success of Venues, Brigade and Acryptia, Taco has continued to be busy with further game development, still incorporating NFTs but building a new universe of play in the Taco-verse for new experiences. Combz has become that next venture, involving a space sci-fi approach to NFT play as a new twist in Taco involvement.

Combz itself is a game combining strategy, artificial intelligence, and play interaction. Players use Spacecombs to gather resources. Game advancement happens with resource accumulation and gain. A Chainfield is needed to make a Spacecomb work and do its job harvesting. A player needs both to make any progress in the game. Even if you decide not to buy any of the initial launch packs, you can still play Combz. A faucet feature allows a daily drop per user of resources, which can then be used to get started in benefits (minimal level of course) to try the game without a purchase risk. The new game's launch will happen on September 22, 2023, with the initial introduction and pack sale of Combz NFTs. The related Taco drop will occur on the NeftyBlocks platform, including multiple options for different buyers. No surprise, early access to the drops will allow whitelisted players already identified in the Taco Discord channel and based on prior specific NFT holdings to buy first. However, after that, the public sale will also occur, providing NFT access to anyone interested.

Keep in mind, Taco drop sales tend to go extremely fast. Most times, buyers will be lucky to get an initial purchase and maybe a second in the first three minutes. After that, past drops have been exhausted and closed. Once that occurs, interested players will only be able to purchase Combz game NFTs on the secondary markets (AtomicHub, NeftyBlocks & NFTHive), usually at increased prices. So, if you want to get the best value on an initial Taco game start, make sure to put the drop time on your calendar and be on the website at least 5 minutes ahead of time.
Additionally, make sure your Internet connection is solid and fast. Wi-Fi and phone purchase has been known to burp, causing missed sales. Expect as well that the confirmation from the Wax blockchain can cause a multi-second display. It's a smart idea to have your confirmation pre-approved already for Nefty so you don't miss a sale in the middle of the transaction itself. If you're not sure how that works, buy something extremely cheap beforehand and make sure your confirmation setting is clicked to “pre-approved” status. Then you will be set for the actual drop.
All purchases are in WAX token, so you will want to be sure you have sufficient WAX in your wallet to cover your purchase ahead of time. Expected drop prices are provided on the NeftyBlocks drop page, so there's no guessing involved. Remember, markup only happens later in the secondary market.
Good luck and welcome to Taco Combz!
