WTH is the nice way of describing this current situation:

The latest network bodge started somewhere around 1 or 2pm today, PST, when suddenly, out of the blue, WAX transactions started getting repeat errors. A quick check of the resources tab in the online WAX wallet showed many CPU rates above 130%. This was interesting because the night before the system was running as low as 10% for the same amount of staked WAX commitment. Of course, all of that begs the question, has the CPU side of the WAX network become such a commodity that only those able to drop 1,000 WAX will have a seamless interaction now when the network gets busy. It starts to seem like a bit of a catch that to make any money with WAX, one has to spend more WAX than is coming out just to have transactions to operate at all.
At this rate, the rate of WAX CPU demand is pretty much making the network useless by the minute for a greater and greater audience. I hope someone is paying attention because this is the kind of thing that will kill off an NFT venue pretty quick for most folks. Time to call Ghostbusters!
