While I spend a lot of time in digital forums and goof around with my crypto communities, I do spend my regular day hours working as a manager, and there are some days when you just have to have some ice cream to get through the crap. Today was one of those days.
After spending three hours working over a personnel issue in which both the supervisor and employee were wrong, add in the fact that a relative was the root cause of the problem in the first place and none of the above, and then deal with another employee who doesn't want to waste time dealing with a new supervisor's questions but in reality needs a swift kick in the arse to stop being a "prima donna," I've decided I've more than deserved a big fat IT's IT ice cream for lunch.

Yep, I paid my dues, I deserve my ice cream bar. And damn, it was good. Just enough to get me through the next hour after lunch. Beyond that, I can't make any promises. Good thing I have a second one and third one waiting in the freezer for me. This is one of the key benefits of working remote!
