Statera - 2nd opinion [updated 9.8.2020]

By Niceday | crypto-money | 9 Aug 2020

Today I will have a 2nd look into Statera.

As I "explored" yesterday I have a basic understanding, what Statera is aiming to do.

Still, I don't know, HOW to proceed.

I set up some lead questions for me and will have a look, if I could answer them by studying the webpage https://stateratoken.com/index.html

Q1: What is the potential ROI using these coins/tokens/ Coin-ETF?

Q2: What are the requirements for withdrawal (minimum amount, fee, hold time,...)?

Q3: Who is Statera, any trustbuilding informations (Names of team, legal registration,...)

So, let's start with checking the menubar at the top

statera menubar

Starting with 7bca41745085ace05fbbae27141367c3a8fb03ea1658dadcc87ee8d42d48fa9a.jpeg

We are some redirected to a page from Uniswap

uniswap

I have never heard from this page, at a first glance it has a coin-exchange-ish appearance.

At least there are further information available, as I discover the "About" link

Hmm, errr, again... a new page stating "Automated Liquity Protocol"....

What the heck?

I don't want to read pages over pages to get a basic information about what it is all about.

But, at least to show some endurance, I discover the next "About" section.

I, will, try, only, this, time.

uniswap

Ok, at least some piece of information.

Uniswap is a small team in the US, having open positions in data-web-affine business.

Furthermore, they offer some contact channels.

uniswap

Time for small conclusion.

Despite the fact, that I clicked at the "Trade" menubutton, I landed at the "Uniswap" page: I still can only assume - it's sort of an exchange-ish thing.

Uniswap itself offers some contact data and have some open positions.

Therefore I conclude: Uniswap contributing 1 point for Q3 (Trust), Statera still 0 points.

Ok, at this point I stop forwarding with the "Trade" excursion, I will try the next menu-button...

statera

I choose "Phoenix" and... receive this fundamental information

phoenix balancer

So, very heartful "hello" from Balancer Labs.

At least something stringent, I see a pattern...

phoenix balancer

This sheet somehow represents the Phoenix coin allocation.

There is a "add" and "remove" Liquidy above, assuming this is similar to deposit and withdraw.

Clicking both buttons led to nothing but a "proxy error", but finally I figured out the basic functionality:

This Balancer sheet is sort of the Front-End, that connects to my (non-existent) wallet at other wallet-services.

Especially at this point I do need some clarification:

Who will connect to my wallet? What kind of allowances are there connected (deposits, withdrawals?)

Who is in charge in case of mis-use?

To be honest, if one service gets compromised, e.g. this "Balancer Labs", I am pretty sure, no-one will be somehow in charge to refund me, if all my balances will be at zero...

Time for the next intermediate conclusion.

Stratera is still not very supportive in revealing some How-Tos at the right place.

As I assume, a third-party wallet is needed to be "wired" to this "Balancer Lab" front-end.

As motivation to proceed with any kind of action, I just need some guidance from Statera.

But, I am still alone here in this section.

Time to jump to the next menu-button...

Delta Token

Choosing "Delta Token" brings me to the following menu

Delta Token

You remember - yes it's the good old friend "Uniswap".

It's time to discover the magic behind the next menu-button

303de580659e67d61fedba623f441adde1623ea76aa72dfdf768807d6ef069f9.jpeg

brings me to the following appearance:

etherscan

Hmm, ok, ...

This looks like a typical Coin-Explorer, where you can track your transaction status, keep an eye on the numbers of confirmations and so on...

Well, so far so good, but

  • where are the other friends Phoenix and Delta Token?
  • Where do I track the other 10% coins?

Once again, what am I supposed to do?

Guys, I am getting tired....I understand, that I am eligible to track a transaction, but as far as I started today, I wanted to understand the story, mechanisms, persons behind this Stratera.

I guess, I will have to deep dive into the

At least, someone reads through it.

.. At this point I will stop the article....

May you put some questions / remarks in the discussion section.

Does my article suit your reading experience?

I intend to proceed with approaching myself to the DeFi-Statera-topic.

I won't rush things, but at least need a minimum understanding this all works besides from "1000% in x hours" or "low y btc entrance fee, you will get rich over night".

How do you rate this article?
