What is Ember Sword?

Ember Sword is a cross-platform free-to-play open world fantasy MMORPG.

Create a character, pick a home region, and venture into the world of Ember Sword. Defeat monsters, bosses, and other players, or explore the world as a peaceful forager of goods and rares.

Each region offers unique quests, monsters, and resources for crafting items. Players can use these resources or sell them in the player-driven economy.

Each skill, from melee, ranged, and energy combat skills, to mining, blacksmithing, fishing, woodcutting, harvesting, and more,  increases in level the more player are training. This unlocks new advancements, new items to craft and equip, new abilities to cast, or resources to harvest.

The Land System

Playing Ember Sword you don’t need land, but owning land does give you benefits. Plots of land can contain a settlement or a village, depending on the size. In these towns players can place buildings, which can provide specific resources, items or services.

The Land system is composed by four new types of land plots:

Regular plots
Settlement plots
Town plots (a town consists of 4 linked town plots)
City plots (a city consists of 16 linked city plots)

The community is heavely waiting for the first land sale date. We will see during the next days if developer will release some news about it.
