These were the top 10 cryptocurencies by marketcap from May 2013 till May this year (2020).

See if you remember any of these top cryptocurrencies from back in the day…

Namecoin, Peercoin, Novacoin or Feathercoin may not mean anything to those who came in the crypto space after 2016, but they used to be the top cryptos once.

Stratis, NXT, Primecoin, Megacoin… the list goes on and on…

And where are they today?

Some have completely gone into oblivion, other are still hanging to their ‘has-been’ status, but all in all, the cryptocurrency landscape today is nothing what it looked like just five-six years ago.

This may help put things into perspective.
