Ranked #4 on Coinmarketcap "DOGE up 16,473.8 %"

It is considered to be altcoin season once 75% of the Top 50 coins performed better than Bitcoin over the last season (90 days) it is Altcoin Season.

Which one did outperformed The King Bitcoin? This alt season was all about NFT until Doge took over. The no use case, Meme, no cap limit altcoin, but is it really useless? that will be for another topic.

Chiliz CHZ started started the alt season before the alt season started, pushing its price from $0.04 to $.88 a 22X. Other altcoins that outperformed BTC are are HOT, MATIC, CAKE, BTT, BNB and DOGE.

According to Altcoin index the only 3 altcoins in the top 50 that did not outperformed BTC in the past 90 days are Aave, XEM and SNX.

So far Doge has surprised everyone with 16,473.8 % gain over the last year. Will it continue to go up, who knows? I sold when it reached 220 Sats feeling like I struck gold.

Is the Alt Season over

The Alt Season index indicated that we are still in the Alt season. We have been in the alt season for the past 6 weeks. The first ever altseason last for 5 months from April - August of 2017. With the way BTC price is behaving looks like the altseason is far from over.

Personally I have not sold any altcoin except DOGE, which was sold prematurely. But I will be watching the market closely to find any signs of either weakness in alts or in BTC.
