The Commonwealth of Dominica is all set to launch the Dominica Coin (DMC) and the national varification form Dominica Digital ID (DID). This is the first of its kind.

TRON: The Origin 

     On October 7, 2022, Tron Blockchain and its affiliated cryptocurrencies became legal tender in the country. The same Tron blockchain is being used to issue DMC, which will be TRC-20 tokens. However, the future plan is to make it cross-chain by including ERC-20 and BEP-20 standards using the BitTorrent Chain protocol.

Huobi on Clouds

     Huobi Global has partnered with the Government of Dominica to distribute DMC tokens. Huobi will allow access to the DID application that will be verified. Holding DMC tokens is mandatory for receiving DID. It is Huobi's responsibility to not let it be misused.

Winners are HODLers 

     DMC is usable as the currency of Dominica, and HODLers will enjoy free airdrops of more DMC and TRON tokens. 

      HODLing DMC will make a person eligible for DID, which will make one eligible for the Citizenship of Dominica Metaverse, and even Dominica passport that is key for visa-free travel to 130 countries and territories.
