I always love to invest in altcoins rather than bitcoin and ethereum*  because of their more risk more reward nature. There are lots of things to look at while choosing altcoin like what is it solving any problem  ?is it fast? Etc.. but for me most important thing is being battle tested.

2 of the altcoins passed the test for me. 

1) xrp: even with the SEC case xrp still holds its value,regular people firms and banks still have high hopes in this altcoin.Actually value loss in this bear market is less then the other cryptocurrencies relatively.

2) avax: this altcoin faced huge sell off while trying to save luna and ust. But avc still hold its place and probably it will be one of the most gainers in the next bull market

Solana(sol)

I think solana is one of the greatest projects in blockchain  its cheap and fast( i know the problems occur sometimes but it can be solvable) and one of the major players in nft market. But with ftx downfall solana take a huge hit. It faced huge selloff and lost major supporter.

Didnt react well to sell off, for comparison sol went to 8-9$ from 240-250$ levels while avax went there from 140-150$. Also ftx has a huge amount of locked solana  which will be released in 2025. So solana is still not battle tested for me

I hold small amount of solana ( better safe than be sorry) but i think solana never reach the heights like this bull market

*ethereum is still a altcoin but doesnt deserve to be categorised with the other altcoins..
